Williams Family Fall Portraits at City Park | Baton Rouge Family Photographer

There’s something about fall at City Park in Baton Rouge that just feels timeless — the soft golden light, the warm tones, and the way everything slows down just a little. The Williams family’s session was the perfect reflection of that feeling.

From the moment we started, it was clear how connected and joyful this family is. The kids brought so much personality and energy, while still giving us those sweet, quiet moments in between — the kind that always end up being favorites. We moved through the park as the light softened, letting the session unfold naturally, focusing on genuine interaction rather than stiff posing.

City Park is one of my favorite locations for family portraits in Baton Rouge, especially in the fall. The mix of open green space, tree-lined paths, and warm evening light creates such a beautiful, effortless backdrop. It allows families to simply be together — which is always where the magic happens.

The Williams family made this session so easy and fun. From playful moments to those classic, everyone-looking-and-smiling shots, we captured a gallery that feels both natural and timeless — something they’ll be able to look back on for years to come.

If you’re thinking about updating your family photos, fall is truly one of the best times to do it. The colors, the light, and the overall atmosphere make it such a perfect season for creating images that feel warm, connected, and full of life.
