A Dreamy Spring Wedding in Baby Blue, Monroe Louisiana | Baton Rouge Photographer
May in Louisiana has a way of feeling like the state's best-kept secret for weddings — warm but not yet unbearably humid, everything green and blooming, and just enough breeze to make an outdoor celebration comfortable. This dreamy spring wedding in Monroe leaned fully into that season, built around a soft, romantic baby blue color palette that felt as fresh as the month itself.
A Palette Built for Spring
Baby blue is one of those colors that reads as both classic and quietly unexpected for a wedding — softer than traditional white-and-gold, but still elegant and timeless. Paired against Louisiana's spring greenery, it gave the whole day a light, airy feeling that photographed beautifully in natural light, from the bridesmaids' gowns down to the smallest table details.
Traveling for Louisiana Weddings
While I'm based in Baton Rouge, some of my favorite weddings happen when a celebration takes me elsewhere in the state. Monroe offered its own version of a Louisiana spring — different light, different landscape, but that same unmistakable warmth and hospitality found at weddings across Louisiana.
Planning a Spring Wedding of Your Own
If you're dreaming of a soft, romantic spring wedding — in Monroe, Baton Rouge, or anywhere in between — I'd love to talk through color palettes, timing, and how to make the most of Louisiana's best wedding season.
