There’s something so special about six-month sessions — that in-between stage where babies are full of personality, starting to sit up, and constantly smiling. Graham’s milestone session at New Orleans City Park was the perfect example of why this season is such a favorite.

Set beneath the moss-covered oaks and soft greenery that make City Park so iconic, his session felt light, relaxed, and full of joy. It’s one of the most beautiful locations for family and milestone portraits in New Orleans, with natural backdrops that photograph effortlessly in every direction.

The Sweet Six-Month Stage

At six months old, everything feels new — and Graham was soaking it all in.

From big smiles to curious expressions, he brought so much personality to the session. This stage is always one of my favorites to photograph because babies are engaged, expressive, and just beginning to interact with the world in such a sweet, genuine way.
