St. Aloysius Catholic Church & Old State Capitol Wedding in Baton Rouge | Lillie & Brian
Lillie and Brian’s wedding day in Baton Rouge was the perfect blend of tradition, elegance, and celebration — beginning with a beautiful ceremony at St. Aloysius Catholic Church and ending with a stunning reception at the Louisiana Old State Capitol.
There’s something incredibly timeless about a church wedding, and St. Aloysius is one of the most beautiful ceremony locations in Baton Rouge. The architecture, natural light, and classic atmosphere create such a meaningful setting for a wedding ceremony.
From the moment Lillie walked down the aisle, you could feel the emotion in the room. Their ceremony was heartfelt and reverent, surrounded by family and friends who were clearly so excited to celebrate them.
After the ceremony, we moved into portraits around downtown Baton Rouge, including one of my favorite locations — the Louisiana Old State Capitol. This venue is iconic for a reason. The stained glass, grand staircases, and historic architecture make it one of the most unique wedding venues in Louisiana.
Lillie and Brian’s portraits here felt both romantic and dramatic, with the light and structure of the space adding so much depth and character to their images.
As the evening transitioned into the reception, the energy shifted into full celebration. The Old State Capitol creates such a memorable reception experience, with its historic charm and open space for guests to gather, dance, and enjoy the night.
From emotional moments during the ceremony to the joy and excitement on the dance floor, their wedding day was a perfect reflection of who they are — classic, joyful, and deeply connected.
